GOOGLE FLOW | AI Filmmakers

A new wave of storytelling, shaped by artists and machines

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE | FILM

Flow is Google DeepMind’s experimental interface for generative filmmaking. Built on Veo and Gemini, it offers artists a new kind of creative instrument; one that blends direction, language, and visual intuition.

To explore its real potential, we partnered with a small group of groundbreaking filmmakers. These weren’t product testers. They were collaborators.

I curated this group, identifying artists who were already experimenting at the frontier of cinema and technology. I worked closely with each of them throughout the process, offering creative guidance on AI best practices, storytelling structure, and how to preserve emotional truth within generative workflows.

The result is a set of original short films that feel personal, ambitious, and entirely new.

Henry Daubrez
Electric Pink
A personal journey through creativity story rendered in glitch, color, and kinetic movement. Art meets autobiography.

Junie Lau
Dear Stranger
An expansive meditation on love and connection across parallel realities. Intimate and interdimensional.

Dave Clark
Freelancers
Two estranged brothers in a gritty sci-fi world. A story about survival, memory, and bloodlines.

These projects combined Flow, Veo, Gemini, and traditional production tools. Each filmmaker pushed the tech in different directions, showing that AI in film is not just about effects—it’s about unlocking new creative languages.
