It’s no secret that being a woman in advertising can be isolating. Especially at an event like Cannes, where the “lions” often far outnumber the “lionesses.” Supporting each other is how we all rise. Through this insight, the Lioness Pride App was born.

An Ogilvy partnership with Google and Unsterotype Alliance, produced by MediaMonks, the Lioness Pride app brings to life a virtual pride of lionesses—representing real women in the industry. Creating an interactive AR story from interviews conducted with women spanning across countries, agencies, and positions, we captured a vulnerable, diverse and empowering support system that women can access at the tap of a buttonAn interactive AR story that brings to life the power of women coming together to deal with the challenges they face at work. For a lioness, working in a lion’s world can feel isolating. Without support, many women leave advertising altogether. Featuring the real voices of women around the world, The Lioness Pride creates an immersive world where you can experience the power of having advertising CEOs, strategists, and creatives in your corner.

Matthieu Lorrain was one of the co-creative directors for the project, working closely with an amazing team of creative directors, strategists and producers from Ogilvy and Mediamonks to bring this experience to life.
